About Quintillion

Who We Are

Our Mission

Our mission is to connect more Alaskans to each other and the rest of the world through our unique high-capacity fiber-based broadband network.

Quintillion’s innovative Arctic broadband network enables connectivity and cloud services for business, government, and military applications, including satellite ground station operations.

Our plan is to make Alaska the North American bridge between Asia and Europe, which will not only provide the shortest route transiting the three continents, but also the fastest inter-continental connection on the planet. This will be complimented by our Arctic connection to space through a High-Latitude Data Acquisition (HiLDA) site on American soil, allowing us to capture data from polar orbiting satellites using a secure low-latency Arctic fiber network.

Our Story

We are providing the fastest broadband connection on the planet.

Quintillion is a leading infrastructure provider of broadband connectivity, satellite ground station, and edge processing services in the US Arctic and Alaska. We provide network capacity on a wholesale basis, helping local telecommunication providers utilize the Arctic fiber since December 2017.

Quintillion has built the first and only system of its kind, serving the Northwest and North Slope Arctic regions. In addition, we are the sole operator of a world-class telecommunications system that serves the markets of Nome, Kotzebue, Point Hope, Wainwright, Utqiaġvik (Barrow), and Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse, as well as the oil and gas infield. Future phases will connect Europe, North America, and Asia with a high capacity-low latency fiber optic cable system through the Arctic.

We sell broadband network services to government and commercial telecommunication providers, and maintain strategic relationships with Alaska Native Corporations serving federal government agencies. This distribution model allows for multiple broadband access providers in markets where there was previously no competition, incentivizing improved products, price, and services for end users.

Quintillion’s system currently has the capacity to deliver gigabit and terabit bandwidth services on a 1,200-mile subsea and 500-mile terrestrial fiber optic network. We are privately funded, and our investors include Alaskan Native Corporations, Alaskan investors, and a Private Equity firm.
