George Tronsrue, Quintillion Subsea Operations, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), has 40 years of prior telecom operating experience in local, long distance, broadband wireless, fiber optic and digital infrastructure, overseeing the planning, construction and operations of various fiber-based network infrastructure in more than 70 major U.S. markets, including executive leadership roles at Monet Mobile Networks, XO/Nextlink Communications, espire/American Communications Services, Inc, Teleport Communications Group and MFS Communications, after starting with MCI Communications in 1983. Since August 2017, George has served as the CEO of Quintillion Subsea Operations and managed the company through its completion of construction and turn-up of initial service in December 2017 and its growth and expansion since then. Previously, he established a Federal Gov Con company, MFSI Government Group, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business founded in 2010. MFSI specialized in providing classified mission critical national security and warfighter support solutions and services.
A graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, NY, he served in the US Army as an airborne, ranger infantry officer from 1978-1983, until a line of duty accident resulted in his medical/disability retirement.
