Nome Community Liaison

Cheri McConnell is the Nome Community Liaison for Quintillion. In this role, Cheri reports on community events and activities to assist Quintillion with areas in need in Nome and the surrounding region. Cheri has lived in both Kotzebue and Nome, Alaska for over 23 years and maintains strong ties to both communities. Cheri’s background includes over ten years of experience as a Tribal Affairs Program Director and as Treasurer for the Alaska Tribal Administrators Association. 

In her career, Cheri has built and maintained strong relationships and trust with stakeholders within rural Alaska communities and has been deeply involved in helping Tribal Councils address community concerns and promote the wellness of citizens of the Bering Straits Region and the State of Alaska. She is also an avid traveler and loves to explore new places across the world with her daughter Brittney, including their annual trip to Punta de Mita, Mexico.
